Pre/Post Partum
Becoming a mom can feel both beautiful and incredibly overwhelming. If you’re a first-time mom in your 30s or 40s, you might notice that even simple tasks feel hard, your patience is thinner, and you barely recognize yourself anymore. You love your baby deeply, yet waves of anxiety, guilt, shame, irritability, or anger keep showing up, and you might catch yourself wondering, “What’s wrong with me?” In therapy, we make sense of these feelings together and honor how much you’re holding—from new responsibilities to shifting identity and changing relationships. Our work focuses on calming your nervous system, softening harsh self-criticism, and creating space for your needs too, so you can move through your days feeling more grounded, present, and connected to both yourself and your baby.
