CECILIA DAVIS, LCPC | THERAPY FOR WOMEN
Let’s create space for what matters most.
I’m Cecilia Davis, LCPC. I’m a humanistic and integrational therapist specializing in anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment trauma, life transitions, and cultural issues. I am bilingual and can have sessions in either English or Spanish. Puedo tener sesiones en Espanol o Ingles.
I work with women who want to know themselves fully and develop self love and compassion so that you can live a meaningful, connected, and authentic life.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
How I Became a Therapist
What began as an attempt to find my way as a lost college student slowly grew into a curiosity that became both my passion and my career. I have always been drawn to understanding people—why we think, feel, and behave the way we do. Shaped by my family dynamics and life experiences, I often found myself wondering what led people to do the things they did. I wanted to make sense of it all.
Looking back, I can see how deeply my younger self needed someone who was wise, compassionate, and kind—someone who could offer guidance and the support I longed for. Today, I feel truly honored to be that source of compassion, guidance, and support for others who are navigating their own journeys.
Get to Know Me!
I am a bicultural and bilingual therapist therapist who speaks both English and Spanish. I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Argentina. At sixteen, my parents decided we would move to the United States—and that changed everything. My story is one of pain, but also one of healing, perseverance, faith, and growth. I know what it’s like to navigate a new culture while feeling bound by my family’s cultural expectations and unhealthy dynamics.
Through my own work—and a bit of divine intervention—I can say I’m a survivor of it all. I have grown in ways I never imagined and have learned many important lessons. And I know you can too! My personal and professional experience helps me support clients navigating anxiety, relationship stress, cultural identity, life transitions, family dynamics, and identity/belonging.
I love animals! If I could, this would be my second job. Here's my furry bestie. My shadow has the shape of a dog!
I'm in a biracial marriage and I love my best friend. Also, navigating LatinX issues in a mixed family has given me lots of experiences to learn from.
I love art of all forms. Painting helps me recharge-here's one of my watercolor paintings. Learning it is fun and challenging in many ways.
We go on lots of walks and love spending time outdoors exploring.

HOW I WORK
Therapy that feels relational and authentic
My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in genuineness. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong, trusting relationship, and I strive to cultivate that by showing up with authenticity, respect, and compassion. I work intentionally to create a safe, supportive space where you can be your true self and begin to develop self-compassion.
As Timothy Keller once said, “to be fully known and truly loved is what gives us strength to face any difficulty life can throw at us.” I hold this belief at the core of my work. By creating an environment where you feel fully seen—both by yourself and by another—you can experience the acceptance, compassion, and connection that are essential for healing and growth.
As a humanistic and integrative therapist, I’m intrigued by understanding the ‘why’ behind your every struggles. Together, we’ll explore your values, upbringing, events in life that have impacted you, narratives you’ve created as a result of it all. With this insight, we’ll work together toward creating change that is meaningful and sustainable.
You may not see it yet, but I believe you have what it takes to create meaningful change. There is wisdom and strength within you which will lead you toward growth. A safe space in therapy can allow you to access these so that you can cultivate and strengthen them.

Therapy with me
is —
-
One of the most important parts of therapy is developing a relationship based on trust and genuineness. I believe this is the stronger predictor of healing and growth.
Therapy with me will be like talking to another human being with feelings and experiences. You can feel free to ask me any question, and I will answer honestly and openly.
-
I don’t believe you are a problem to be ‘fixed’. I show up to every session with an open and curious mind, wanting to fully understand you and all the different parts of you.
I don’t judge or criticize your present or past. My way of viewing you doesn’t change by what I learn about you. I show up with compassion and care and meet you where you’re at.
-
It’s not my job to tell you what you should or shoudn’t do. My approach is work collaboratively with you so that you can take the steps you are ready to take. I meet you where you’re at so that together, we can we can create the change that is aligned with your values and you can create a life that feels meaningful to you.
-
I believe we are all unique individuals, needing guidance and support in a unique way.
As an integrative therapist, I utilize a variety of tools depending on what you need in that moment. I do this in a very relational and natural way, as if you were having a normal conversation with someone. I will check in with you and make sure that my approach is working with you and review our goals regularly to ensure that therapy is working for you.
